The Challenge

How do you communicate an integrated care pilot to both clinicians and the community?

CommunitiCare Health and the Registered Massage Therapists' Association of Ontario (RMTAO) launched a collaborative initiative designed to explore how Registered Massage Therapists could work within a broader interdisciplinary healthcare environment alongside physicians, physiotherapists, nurses, social workers, and other clinicians.

The project required a clear and accessible way to communicate the goals, collaboration, and real-world impact of the pilot program to both healthcare professionals and the wider community.

The Approach

Clinical collaboration and patient experience, told together.

Motion Narrative produced a series of documentary-style healthcare stories focused on both the clinical collaboration and patient experience behind the initiative. Through interviews with healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines — alongside conversations with patients directly impacted by the program — the project highlighted how integrated care models can support more connected and patient-centered healthcare experiences.

The storytelling approach emphasized authentic conversation, thoughtful preparation, and human experience, helping communicate a complex collaborative healthcare model in a way that felt relatable and easy to understand.

The Impact

Interdisciplinary collaboration, grounded in patient wellbeing.

The series helped communicate the success and positive community response surrounding the integrated care initiative while illustrating the value of interdisciplinary collaboration within healthcare settings.

By grounding the project in both professional insight and patient experience, the videos supported broader conversations around innovative care delivery models and the role collaborative healthcare environments can play in improving patient wellbeing.
