01
The Challenge
How do you help patients see what each program actually does?
The Barrie and Community Family Health Team (BCFHT) wanted to increase awareness and understanding of the many specialized healthcare programs available throughout the organization.
With services ranging from lung health and prenatal care to mental health, telemedicine, nutrition, Health Links, and aging well programs, the organization needed a clear and engaging way to communicate the purpose and value of each service to patients and the broader community.

02
The Approach
Short, patient-centered stories from each program.
Motion Narrative produced a series of short documentary-style healthcare stories focused on the clinicians, healthcare professionals, and patients connected to each program. Through thoughtful interviews and patient-centered storytelling, the series highlighted how different healthcare teams supported individuals and families across a wide range of healthcare needs while helping make complex services feel more approachable and easier to understand.
Rather than relying on institutional language alone, the videos focused on authentic conversation and lived experience to communicate the human side of healthcare delivery.

03
The Impact
Clinical insight, told as real patient experience.
The final series helped BCFHT communicate the scope and value of its healthcare programs in a way that felt clear, personal, and accessible to patients and the community.
By combining clinical insight with real patient experiences, the project supported broader patient education and community outreach efforts while reinforcing the organization's commitment to coordinated and patient-centered care.
